Hello Digital Cabbie here webmaster of Vegascabbie.net and this is the page that all of you who use this site need to be on. I am going to be asking several businesses and drivers to donate and sponser this site. The more we get the more we can afford to do. If we need a lawyer for example then we can afford one, if not then we keep getting screwed. WE need to help each other if and when we need it. We need to pin point our efforts in this cabbie community, we plan on making this website a destination for all cabbies to learn what is going on as it is going on...all the stuff all the time, day in and day out.

So I am creating this page to give honorable mention to all who have givin there time and money in making this site what it is for all drivers. So please feel free leave a donation of whatever you are able, and if it is nothing...we understand.

Just so you know where it goes.....Well this website runs on a server (all websites do this) and for that you need a HOST which you must pay to have this done. A server is where we upload the information to so when you click on the link it is there 24-7 (well at least in a perfect world)

Servers serve the website to you via the internet on what is called bandwidth, now bandwidth is like water running thru your hose at home and the more you use of it the more it costs. Now as of this point in time we are not using enough bandwidth to cost us anymore then usual since it is like cell phone mins. only if you go over do you get whacked. So untill we reach that point we are kool but there are other things that go come into play in creating this website, for instance the messageboard although it was FREE to use, it takes a lot of tweaking to keep it up and running (as you well know from the other one crashing from time to time) but this one seems more functional and stable so we are good to go.

Our time involved is tremendous in keeping this site up to date and moving foreward. I talk to drivers about issues trying to get the up to date stories to post up here, never mind the money paid out in programs to create this site. Lets see Dreamweaver cost about $700.00, Photoshop 7.1 cost aroun $300.00 Etc. Etc. I do all of the graphics myself (save a lot of cash right there) and I also do the creating of the webpages and editing.
