What your union has done
1) Unions working together for the benefit of the drivers. "Together" being the important word.
2) Dramatic increase in membership recently.
3) No new medallions for the last 6 months.
4) Cameras mandated for all Vegas cabs finally.(This should be finalized in the next 3-6 months.)
5) Whittlesea and Henderson contracts both pluses for the drivers.
6) AB 505 stopped. (with the help of the drivers staging rallys)
7) Saving jobs of drivers on a regular basis.
8) Start of the annual Taxi & Limo meetings.
9) Vigilantly watching the TA, companies and other agencies for the drivers.

Our dreams for the drivers in Vegas have to be made of steel.
Remember what the gladiator said in the movie(The Gladiator) If we are going to get out of here alive(financially in our case) we better stick close together.
I truly believe that concept is the only one that is going to improve the lot of the cabbies in vegas.
